Towing mirrors for a Tundra?

What towing mirrors are you using for your Tundra and how do you like them. Need something quick.

I bought a set that slide over the factory mirrors,work pretty good,but I keep thinking there going to fly off someday driving down the road,wish I bought a truck with the factory tow mirrors!

Toyota makes extendable towing mirrors as an accessory

I just used those CIPA mirrors on a tow to BC. They are OK. Kind of mickey mouse to mount and the outside mirror is really small. Can you retro fit the Toyota extendable mirrors or are they just a factory option at time of purchase?

I agree and there kinda small also,after my last post I started searching for some OEM tow mirrors and some at sparks Toyota for $400 and bought some at ebay for$250,they are definetely worth the money!

Those are sweet. How hard was the install? Are they electric or just push them out by hand?

Not to bad,just have to pull the inside panel off to get to the mounts and unplug the wire harness and they manually slide in and out.

i swapped out the standard mirrors on my tundra for the OEM extendables too. i found a guy on tundratalk that swapped me for free....we just had to pay shipping (and i had to go with no mirrors for a week, which was no big deal....just had to drive the car)

they plug right in to the OEM harness. everything works including the heaters (if equipped).

If you switch to the extendable mirrors you will get turn signals built into the mirrors. The blinkers will work as long as your tundra came equiped with heated mirrors.
