Towing a enclosed trailer & deck combo???

I am looking for what other people are doing to extend the length between truck and trailer. So this is what I have..... 2012 Chevy Silverado with a 6.5' bed, I run a 8' deck and the sleds stick out from the deck another 3' or so, a total of roughly 5' sticking out from the bumper. The trailer is 21' in total length and will hold 3 sleds, the tongue is 22" from the center of ball to the front of the trailer nose. The receiver that comes stock on the truck is the 2.5". Is anyone just using a longer stinger? Is an after market tow hitch necessary? Are you extending the tongue on the trailer itself?

Trailer tongue extension would probably be the best if u have one trailer.
U can make ur own truss if u can weld. U don't want one tube 3ft long, u nd 2, one above the other.
Weld another 2in receiver under ur stock 2.5.
Or spend the $1,100 on a superhitch and super truss. I have done both.
My superhitch Magnum is good for 1,700lbs of tongue weight and 17k lbs towing, the most important, it provides legal protection in case of an accident. Well worth the $$$

I have used the anti-rattle device on a regular stinger and it really eliminates excess freeplay of the stinger. If I ever use my 18" extender I will definitely use it. Made my own using a square "U" bolt and a large bolt with two holes drilled though it.

The chains keep it from swaying side to side.
