Hope temps rise a couple degrees, we have to go into the backend to bring the brother in laws sled out this week. Anyone looking to go out, always looking for others to ride with on weekdays.

anyone do the torpy this weekend? was planning on going but got to cold for that 40km ride in.

I was there on Saturday. Was the first couple of guys in there and partly broke the trail in. The ride in wasn't to bad, but the ride out was hell. We tried to get to the back and ended up spending about 2 hours trying to get buddies tapex out from the trees. It really made me change my mind about wanting one, ***gin heavy lug of a thing. Snow sucked, all wind blown all over the place, and you could pretty much climb anything. A blue blazer, just windy as hell.

gonna try to make it if it warms up a bit, then cook up some moose smokies hopefully they wont be frozen -ock stiff, and theres some fresh pow and shake this cabin feeeeeeeever.

Very wind blown. lots of real hard pits from stuck sleds have not been filled in yet. Snowing realy hard when we left so tomorrow and Sunday should be decent. The parking lot has been opened up as well.

Just a question on Torpy. I have been going there for the last 10 years and we still don't have any names for any of the bowls. Does anyone have names for any of the areas in there? I'm getting confused when people refer as First bowl and second bowl and so on. Lets get something started on names and you never know it might save someones life, or help retrieve a sled that has been left behind.

P.S. mountianmontser hope you guys can find that sled after all this snow.

Cam and I going to go north down the powerlines or something to test out his sled in the afternoon, saturday sunday out to torpy with my brother inlaw,
Tenderlion's plastic didn't come in today maybe tomorrow told him take the max, he didn't sound to enthusiastic you in for any riding
Did you get your sled working good yet i heard it was making extra fire and some kind of track problem??

talked to tenderloin today, he said he went yesterday and did the full tour of the torpy and the snow was quite set up no dry pow to be had. not rock hard either. should be good tomorrow but possibly a little firmer with the couple degree weather drop.

Pass lake road was rough today, Torpy road was even rougher. No fresh snow it was rock hard and caulk stiff. I won't ride again till we get some freshie. Wasn't even fun:(

rough

long rough ride in and out, trail was set hard this morning and little softer comming out. I would not recomend a trip in until we get some snow. spring type conditions on the hills, climb what ever you want. No slides noticed but did stay off a couple of climbs we usally play on due to all the slide news lately. Heard someone borrowed the cylinders off the groomer. must be making a log splitter. If someone shows up with a new custom log splitter with blue clyinders on it I would be suspect. @ss.

The PG Snowmobile Club is still working on repairs to the Pernoff groomer down at Howies Marine. Need more club members and volunteers to get the trail groomed eariler. As soon as the Pass Lake Road is groomed the "PG Ride For Free" club on their junky sleds will be into the Torpy in hordes.
