Torn Lugs

Have you guys torn lugs down to the cords and just kept running the track? any danger with it snapping?

I have, It did't seem to hurt anything. It happened mid season and I replaced track in the off season. Probably put
500 miles on the track after I had lost at least 4 paddles.
