I have the day off and want to install my top-end. I'm spacing off, can I do this without installing the magneto flywheel? I'm 99.9% sure I can. I have nobody to hold the clutch so I can torque the retaining nut/washer.

Yes you can install the top end with the mag off. IMO do not hold the clutch to torque the nut on the mag end. It's best to hold the mag end only as you torque that nut.

Thanks! I don't have the tool required to hold the crank, any way around that?
