Top end rebiuld on 02 800x need help!

I'm rebuilding the top end on my 02 summit 800 x. I bought everything brand new all the way down to cylinder bolts and head bolts. renicked cylinders new pistons, rings even thermostat. I'm wondering if theres a rebuild manual anywhere for these sleds with procedures and specs and all that. this is my first top end on a 2 stroke. do i need to put assembly oil? oil in the bottom end? anything i need to know before doing this?

I always use fogging oil for assembly lube and its worked for 7 years for me. Biggest thing to say to u is dont drop any upper rod bearing needles in ur crankcase. I believe there is suppose to be 28 if im remembering correctly?

I 2nd that. I stuffed paper towels around my connecting rods just in case. When you pull that piston pin and piston out sh!t hits the fan. The new needle bearings have that nice little cage for the install. Just make sure all gasket surfaces are clean like usual. Also the piston pin circlip can be a little tricky at times.

Cylinder torque is 27ft lbs and then retorque at 32 ft lbs

Cylinder Head torque is 22ft lbs

There is a sequence to head torque but I can't find it at the moment.

All in all its pretty easy just take your time...

Yup... works nicely and you don't have to buy anything other oil...
