Tools to carry for the Pro?

Other than a couple metric box wrenches, the best tool I have found (for metric or SAE) is a leatherman Skeletool. Buy that and the bit kit with the bit extension. It comes in 2 compact cordura/velcro cases that can be stowed or put on a belt (I personally put them on the waist strap of my ABS pack). The bits are slim bits (not the normal 1/4" hex drive) and there is about 2 dozen that come with the kit, with everything from Torx, to Allen in metric and SAE, and of course screw drivers. The tool and the bits are super light and compact and extremely useful, as I have found on many occasions.

The kits from Polaris come with a 9/16 and 1/2 end wrench, spark plug tool with hex driver "comes with sled", belt removal tool, and a regular flat blade screw driver. I always carry some good tape, zip ties, and a good multi tool. Leatherman-Wave was my favorite.

With the underseat bag for the IQ and PRO it is handy to carry an even bigger tool case, with a spring thing, 1/4 dr socket set. and all the above. I also noticed putting new sleds together the front ski bolts are not 9/16 anymore they are larger like 16mm or something. But go through your sled and match the right tools for the right job. 9/16 will still take care of track tension, and most suspension components.

Just checked my Pro RMK most bolts in rear suspension are 15mm including adjuster bolt. Mounting bolts for rear are 17mm. Bolt for ski is 16mm with 15mm nut. The only thing I have found that is USA are on the team clutches(bolts that mount clutches are metric) and the allen bolts that hold the bar hooks on.

I must have got a cheap one cause I didn't get any end wrenches. I got the plug wrench, trod, emergency start strap, clutch spreader, and the shock wrench.

The only tools my pro came w/ were a spark plug wrench, belt removal tool and the infamous pull start strap..

The plug wrench has the 40 torx for the hood on the end of the handle.

Duck bill pliers and Plier wrench are very good to have.

Can be purchased from Snap-on.
