Took the day off

And went for a ride, 3' of settled snow with a layer at 2'. Had about 8-12" on top for 4' total, 28 degrees and slight overcast. Could still carve, jump and play in the swamps and lakes. Found some creek banks to jump. Also decided that my Fat A$$ may need the big boy shock spring, hit bottom a couple of times when sitting. Not so bad standing but I have not gone down any rough trails yet. Over 200 miles on the sled and am loving it. A few things I have noticed riding today and Saturday.
I need to tune the suspension for my size 230 dry weight.
Fix the sway bars put them away.
Fix the handle bars. I moved the bars back to accommodate the tall windshield so when I turn I do not hit the break lever. I think this and the sway bars may effect how I am able to pull it over/ side hill.

Any thought are welcome.

Just got the mid one today, put it on and moved the bars back forward. Run a river to our cabin when it is +10 to -20 for 60 miles one way. You need some wind protection. But that big ole thing makes it hard to see and hard to turn.

It's easy enough to pop off that windshield when you get where you are going and put it back on when you head back in. I run small or no windshield all the time and don't get cold. I have been running no handguards but that can get a little cold on a long ride out.

I Ride out to Shell lake alot. Run the tall windshield and take it of when i get there. Broken to many winshields to count powder riding. Easier to take of and have it for the ride out.

When I towed freight building the cabin a couple of times I hauled fuel for riding, generators, stove ect (100 gallons) and the RMK on the freight sled so I can ride it instead of the Super wide. Got some funny looks.
