2016 Axys 800, ~1800 miles... running SLP pipe/silencer and 68g weights.. Pulled the plugs to check compression, which was ~132 both sides (@ 100' elevation/cold engine)
I'm running BR9ES, I've had problems before where after a good rip, I'll shut the sled down, (single digit temps) rest for 10-20mins, and go to start the sled and it won't start unless I pull it over 5-10 times while holding throttle wide open.
Anyways, pulled the plugs today, and noticed the plugs were wet, and quite a bit of oil both on the plugs, in the threads, and in the plug wells on the head. To my knowledge, the oil nut has never been messed with (bought the sled as a demo, called dealer and they said they never touched the oil feed nut)
Always ran Polaris VES Gold, & Shell 92oct.
Also, I've noticed my sled REALLY drinks the oil, like, at a WAY faster rate than it did on my 2015 Pro...
Should I possibly turn the oil screw down a slight amount? I know how fragile these engines are, so I don't want to do anything drastic.
Also, are the BR9ES the best plugs for these engines, or should I go with something a bit hotter?
