I took my family for a drive today and we decided to stop at the lake, they are charging 5 bucks to park up there! WTF? I told the guy that I thought that was f-n stupid, I drove past him and went to bear lake, stopped and got shakes, stopped along the road and threw my kids in the water. Didn't have to pay to see the water at bear lake, plus we went for a swim!

How long have they been charging at Tony Grove Lake?

As long as I can remember, it was 6 bucks at one time. I have not clue why.

I have never understood way they charge. Other then they know it is popular. So they have to make money on it.

Money for sure but I also think that a lot people hike in to back country camp and leave there vehicles parked for days.
They should let the hourly/day people park free.
Thought about after I posted this morning.

I've been going there all my life and They've been charging for as long as I can remember. I'm just glad they don't charge for parking in the winter!

I would bet that sooner or later they will charge in the winter also....

Went to Bloomington Lake and they don't charge there... That place is a MAD house on a Saturday.
