Tollgate

I think that's true but there's enough snow no one will bother you. It snowed about eight more inches last night.

Be Careful, I believe that Oregon will honor Washington Sno-Park permits this year BUT...ODOT has not updated their web site to include Washington Sno-Park permits as being valid in Oregon this year. The snowmobile club has contacted the sheriff and the Forest Rangers and they have not been notified by ODOT that they are honoring Washington Permits this year, because this change was last minute it may take a couple of weeks to get all the people that can write tickets notified...stay tuned and check out Tollgate Trail Finders on Facebook for the latest info..

This information came from the WSSA website

"OREGON TO HONOR WASHINGTON SNO-PARK PERMITS THIS SEASON (Nov '10) - WSSA contacted Karen Morrison, ODOT's Maintenance Service Coordinator, and she stated Oregon will honor Washington's Sno-Park Permits this winter since Washington didn't rescind reciprocity. The update wasn't yet showing in the Sno-Park section of ODOT's website but Karen said a request to update it had been submitted."

We have seen the WSSA web site BUT the people that write the tickets haven't been told officially yet. That is the point and telling the guy writting the tickets in Oregon that WSSA says it's okay probably wont cut it. It is going to tazke some time to get everyone in Oregon updated with the info from their supervisors.

Thank you groomers and others for the nice trail work this week! The wife and I took Friday afternoon off and REALLY enjoyed tearing up some beautiful fresh snow. Still a little more snow needed to hide all the stumps, but there were plenty of places to play.

I kinda like my ride on Sunday, although we got dumped on for about 30 minutes of snow while riding.:face-icon-small-ton

Snowed in at Bone Springs

Heard a couple of people spent Tuesday night at the warming shelter. The way the storm blew in it was a smart move. Groomer spent most of the day busting a trail to get them out on Wednesday afternoon, people were in good shape as they had food and water with a warm place to wait it out.
