Went riding in the area for first time this week. On the top of one mountain is a odd looking block or building of some sort. I think it north of X trail. Any one know what's up?

I sold the sportfire after I blew it up twice! Should have left it stock. I went from that to RMK's so its not missed much.
I just got home from there as well, saw the same thing and kinda wondered what it was aswell.
I asked when I was there and was told that it was Honda's test facility. They only ride at night with night vision goggles and a stealth chase helicopter to follow the sleds. I swear I heard that new sled one night. Sounded like a boosted indy car engine.

Are you calling me a liar? I'm positive there are "secret sleds" running the hills of the Wind River Mountains at night.
O.K., I'm bummed that the snow is melting and just wanted to add some X-Files to the whole thing. Damned radio towers....
We always park in the pull off under that thing and have always wondered the same thing. Makes for a good check point because you can see that thing from a long ways away.

well here is something to try. shoot it...wait for about 5 minutes and if the military shows up ask them. if they dont, it must not be that important lol
Looks like phase array radar panels to me.
You can definitely see it from a distance. I wondered about that big brown building too. Sounds interesting.
