Togwotee webcam -- Plowing the lot????????

I'v never been there before but it doesn't look like any one is there or even open. Maybe that thread about the service at the lodge got the word out. LOL

But wait...... there's more:

BU1 ,I caught a couple pics by sheer coincidence a couple minutes before you captured yours.

Even more interesting, the State of WY trails supervisor gave the lodge strict instructions NOT to use the Tucker blade out on the trail system. Hence, the worst trail conditions I've experienced out there, back in January when I was there for a week.

Then there's the trails that were poorly marked, or not marked at all. But I digress.:face-icon-small-dis

it was very warm today, 55 deg. they need to do that because the snow is to soft to drive on, sink to the bottom, no worries

First year I have seen them do this as well, but again this has been the first year with good snow since the webcam has been put up.

Pics of the Tucker doing some work are great. Again it makes me think of ways of finding year round employment near or at.

600+ inches and it is starting to warm up. Need someplace to park and not get stuck!
Gonna be riding late again this year!!!

What does the wind river look like in the spring when it all starts to melt? I have wondered many of times, any one have some photos of it?

togwotee lot

yeah, the amount of snow we moved out of the lot was unbelievable. there was about three feet of base on the whole lot. took approx three weeks to clear the front lot. and that was damn near working around the clock.

Oh come on, we know Togwotee a lot better then that. There is nothing going on around the clock since the days of the teepee after parties.

BTW, are you back in MN yet? I bet your happy to see winter come to a end. I know I would be if I worked out there.

Whoever it was that ran the loader this winter should get a bonus this year. The roads around the cabins were the best I've seen in some time. It seems in the past few years the operator wouldn't push the banks back far enough at the start of the winter and the roads just got narrower as more snow fell. The same with the snow pile on the back edge of the bottom lot. That bank was pushed back much further than in the past it seems. Here's one on me!:beer;

yeah i was the loader operator out at togwotee this year. and it was def tough to keep up with everything this winter, considering i was the only one who ran loader. just when i got done clearing everything, we would get another foot and i would start all over again. kind of a never ending job!! but i liked it. goin back next year forsure. And yes RJ, i am back in MN and glad to see green grass again!!!!

The WindRiver flows fast. Fun Whitewater rafting :) almost impossible to cross any creek from May 15th to June 1st

I'll be out there on June 15 this year and it will be interesting to see since I haven't been out there in the summer time since I was a little dude.

I wish the loader man would have graded in the pot holes in front of the station before he left.
