Togwotee Pass

We are most likely scheduling a trip to Togwotee at the end of December I was just curious what kind of riding we should be expecting heading out at that time of year

it all depends on the type of snow coniditions but most times that ive been out there at that time, its been great. a little less snow at lower elevations but once you get the the pass it can be amazing. last year when we went we were pushing powder most of the time during christmas where we were at

I agree. I've seen Togwotee epic in mid-December. I've seen it unrideable in late December. It really depends on the year, that's for sure.

Last year I went on my first ride the 10th of December 2 ft of new powder on a good base. Just check snow conditions when the season gets closer.

well hopefully this year is different, but i remember the mechanics at Tog replacing A-Arm's one after another in Dec last year cause of the low snow conditions. but the first big storm is supposed to roll in today so maybe this year we will have good early snow! cross your fingers...

OK, so I forgot about Firecat's camera. Then I got to thinking... I'm the leader, I'm supposed to get stuck. Breaking trail in all that 3ft deep powder has it's disadvantages......LOL Soooooooo I guess I'll just have to keep getting stuck.
