Toe out on a 09 Dragon.

I think it is 3/4". I just measure the back and make sure the front is 3/4" more than the back width. Make sense?

Try more like 1/8 inch toe out for the setting. That is what i have mine at and what the book said when i read it last year..

Method for measuring ski alignment

Try more like 1/8 inch toe out for the setting. That is what i have mine at and what the book said when i read it last year..

CORRECT^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Place some wood blocks under the ski directly below the spindle.

Measure by hooking the carbide runner on one side to the center of the carbide you're taking the measurement at.

Take the measurements approx 10" in front of and approx 10" behind the spindle.

Hope this helps.

Its usually less than 5 miles from the trailer to the powder, is it really that critical ???

Kinda what I was just thinking. The difference between 1/8" and 3/4" is very small when the skis are slapping the ground anyway. The main thing is that I try to make sure I have toe-out.

Well, I bounced off a big tree late last season so I was checking the front end alignment for any problems so I might as well do it with the correct numbers.
Thank you guys.

Start with the 1/8th and test continuing to toe out until it tracks consistantly. Note gang the weight of rider, rear suspension setup, and front shock style all affects tracking. All of that has to do with the contact of the runners so each and every set can vary and act differently.

Great point F-Bomb. Set your sled up for real world riding conditions, which varies with every rider and sled set up.
