Anyone ride today? How was it and where did you go? Trying to figure out where the snow fell and where to ride tomorrow.

Mother in Law says it's been dumping all week in the Uinta's and it looks like it's snowing now too. Should be fun for a couple gimps to get in tomorrow, not.:face-icon-small-con

Stay home and be safe!

It sucked BAD!!!!!!!!!!!! That flippen white stuff was in everything throttle lever was froze brake was froze goggles were so full of snow and froze I couldn't see how bad it was. Couldn't even get out of my helment all the white stuff was packed and forzen in. It is a pain in the butt riding in 2 1/2' of fresh spring snow. I suggest you all just save yourself the pain and agony and stay home on the sofa were it is safe! :couch2:

Very good advise and a true SW hero looking out for others. Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear about your miserable day.

I would guess it looked something like that, all I could see was that damn white stuff coming over the hood.
Ah I can remember the days when it was just like a asphalt and all you had to do was sight see and watch for holes!
None of this crap of paying attention to parking down hill so you can get going, not being able to climb any hills for all the snow that can slide off on you.
It was pure hell, AGAIN I can not say it enough stay home!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The worst part of it was the dang sun went down and it was still dropping that white stuff.
Did I mention I think I drop a small bag of peanuts so I'm going to have to go pick up my litter tomorow!

Today sucked. Worse day riding ever. Logan riding is horrible stay away it's hard packed everywhere.

We rode up mirror lake hwy from our side of the uintas and the top 6 inches is heavy and wet and packs ur suspension off all to hell but track hookup is great.. til u penetrate the 5 inch crust under the 6 inch fluff and then you and up in a 3 foot mess so watch where you stop cause its all very heavy and very sticky.. hope to see some of you out there tomorrow

Bummer. The snow we are getting just a little further west sounds much deeper and lighter. Over the hood fluff yesterday at Guardsman, not feeling the crust underneath anymore.

M8 Chris are you being serious or facetious? After all these storms you mean to tell me it's crappy??? Hard to believe! Perhaps you are just trying to keep others away?

I was just trying to play along with everyone else and say how "bad" the snow was. I had all the problems of everyone else. Too many pow face shots too deep of snow couldn't even see my hood. The day pretty much sucked unless you like that kind of riding;)

I just found out how truely bad it was yesterday. I rode wide open all day with the hood covered with snow and no air going in the hood, I melted my throttle cable now tell me that isn't bad!!!!!!!!!!:hurt:

Ok, so everyone keeps talking about the great snow, so who is going riding tomorrow that I can tag along with? I'm from Wyoming, and I still go riding there most of the time, but I've now been in Utah for several years and probably should find some riding buddies and areas near me, instead of heading to the Snowy Range and Sierra Madres to ride with family. Anybody near West Jordan riding tomorrow?
