Todays fuel

Is anyone had problems with the crap fuel we have to buy today. We have lost 7 machines this year and the only thing in common is the fuel. All of the pistons have pre ing burn down. Now I am in the search for spi piston kit for a 97 mm600 twin. Can someone help me?

thats the HUGE plus for the four strokes. you can have crappy fuel, and the motor will live to run another day with little to no ill effect on them. i am so happy not to have to worry about, octane or fuel quality anymore.

you can literally pull up anywhere and get gas, 55 gallon rusty drums, above ground tanks with frost lines on them in the back country ect.... and not be affraid to ride your sled like you normally would.

thats what really sold me on the 4 stroker. ski

I buy my premium fuel in 55 gallon drums from the local fuel supplier. If you get in touch with your local cardlock dealer you should be able to order in bulk by the barrel. Then at least you'll have a better idea of what fuel you're getting and how old it is etc?

I also try to avoid ethanol blended fuels. According to some guys I've been reading you need about 2 jet sizes larger if you're running 10%+ ethanol blended fuel to keep the engine burning cool enough.
