To the tool who stole my stuff

You are a tool. My sled was next to my trailer and had a shovel, tow strap, and waterbottle in it. they took it all. this is the only time i wish i had some crazy mouth disease. i mean seriously who steals a waterbottle? I guess im most pissed about the tow strap though. if you took my **** your a douche...

Seriously, how big of an a$$hat do you have to be to swipe someone elses stuff? We work hard to buy the equipment to enjoy our sport, I wish these LOWLIFES would realize this and do like the rest of us do...GET A JOB! I feel for ya shocakonbite, I had my two place trailer stolen while on a trip to the snowies about 5 years ago. It really opened my eyes to not trust that anything is safe. It sucks that I am ( and probably you now) paranoid and have to take extra precautions to keep my equipment secured. Oh well, what do you do.

Just once, I would like to read where fellow sledders caught someone stealing another sledders stuff, and delivered the proper punishment on the spot.

We are our own best police force!

Please don't ever turn a blind eye to suspicious behavior, the next victim could be you!

the sad part is this lowlife probably will never read this unless he steals a computer! this sucks but oneday we will catch one and give him an example of how we feel! where was this at?

Well said !!!!:beer;

You would think that the people who are involved in this sport have enough respect for eachother. I would love to hear about a little mountain justice in this case.

i had some fuel stolen last season,i had to borrow some fuel to get back down the mountain,so i now carry some special mix and leave it at the cabin when i arrive.i cant wait till someone takes it and uses it,and hopefully i will get to see the results of their engine damage on the trail out.

Sorry to hear about that, it is getting rediculous. Next thing we're going to have to lock down our straps so they don't get stolen! My next trip to the mountains i'm bringing a special jerry can, and going to leave at in a nice obvious spot and hope someone takes it, and then look for the guys towing down a sled with a blown motor then you have caught the theif! It will cost me about a few gallons of gas, but if someone steals it it will be PRICELESS :D

hopefully it would burn there whole sled down. they deserve it. i have a lawn business so i keep a lot a fuel on my trailer in the summer. someone always used to steal the 5 gal. cans. but i did the same thing. hopfully they'll use it and learn there leson!!

I am sorry to hear about your gear shocakonbite. I hope you'll get it back but chances are you wont. Your trailer too Dieseldog. I live in Wyoming and sled out of Albany into the Snowys most weekends. I hope it wasn't someone from my beloved state. It shames and humiliates all good and honest folks no matter where you live to have their people doing those things. My parents don't lock their doors in the evening until they go to bed. It worries me because we live in a different world. You really can't trust anything anymore. Hang ern high if you catch them. You could use that tow strap if he still has it. Good luck.

yep, went most of my life without having to lock the doors. Times have changed. I went through that battle with my mom, but she was sure glad that I had her in the habit of locking the doors when someone tried to get in while they were out. (THIEFS SHOULD BE CANED, THAT'D LEARN EM).

People these days.
Even in little towns like the one i live in, just last night or this morning a guy that lives just down the road from me in an apartment shot his wife or girlfriend or something in the throat, i guess shes still alive idk the whole story but wow. scares me pretty bad

That sucks!! Where we ride there was a turboed apex that sat for 3 plus weeks before the guy went back and drug it out. I dont know I think the motor was blown. There was a cr tunnel boss seat 2 jerries of race gas on it and othe misc mods and nothing was vultured from it in 3 weeks!! Too bad some turkey has to take yer necessary stuff. Chin up man, good things will come yer way..........

back when i was doing construction, one of the crew member kept having his water bottles stolen out of his cooler. Well one day he got tired of it, and marked a water bottle and filled it with urine. Needless to say im sure the water thief learned his lesson. DID he take it to far ? well working out in 100 degree temps in the sun, water turns into gold around a construction site.

was that in Hasler? if so, was my buddy's tapex....bad TPS sensor.

at renshaw saturday, a dude was saying a couple sleds were stolen from the cabin while the owner was inside. guys would double up from the parking lot, one would jump off at the cabin and grab a sled....unreal.

This kind of stuff keeps have more and more frequently. Cant wait to hear a story of where the thief actually gets caught.

Exactly:beer;

The problem is most of us like to go and actually ride... These douche bags are probably parking lot posers waiting to see the groups leave and then strike....

I would love to catch someone in the act, beat them within an inch of their lives...

I hate fu(kin theaves:mad::mad::mad::mad:

There was a Snowester that posted a couple weeks back that he sets up his laptop to record everything around his vehicle in his absence....wow wouldnt that be nice to surprise them with. Kinda a shame it has to come to that though.
