To Sale or not to Sale.

So I blew out my knee last night playing softball (my summer sport for old guys) and now it looks like surgery to repair torn tendons (ACL,PCL,MCL) So the question is, should I sale my 09 Dragon with less than 400 miles and a few mods and get out of the $200.00 a month payment? Or, just leave it in the garage for a year and get the fabled engine work done when they are ready and keep it till I can ride? I owe about 10,000 on it and I know I can't get that for it but I am really struggling with what to do. Anyone looking for this machine? What kind of cash would it bring?

Let me know if anyone is interested.

your going to have to make up the difference when you take a $2-3000 hit anyway so you might as well keep it

I know excactly what you are going through, my back is going out and I just built my quad and only got to ride it one day. and I have a 09 dragon as well. I have gone through the same thoughts but I won't get my money back out of them or will I beable to get them back so I'm keeping mine that way they will be there when I can go

If you're concerned you won't be able to ride this winter because of the knee, I wouldn't be. I had my ACL rebuilt late last August and was fine for snowmobile season. Got a little sore first couple of rides but still put on 2000+ miles last year. Just do the therapy like they tell you and you should be OK.

Had the same surgery like 4 years ago. Your re-hab is the most important thing. Get walking on your leg no less than a week later (obviously not full pressure, but some, its gonna hurt like hell!) After my surgery I was on a sled like 4 weeks later. You'll need some buddies to help you get unstuck and you won't be jumping off 20ft cornices or anything but its still possible. Might help that I was 25 yrs old, but oh well.
