I have a 2012 Pro RMK that I bought with some damage on the front left suspension area, little plastic damage... Thought i would fix it up and go now Im thinking i would rather get my money back out of it and snowcheck a 2013. Is there a lot of interest in parts on these things if i were to part it out? It only has 80 miles on it, runs great, everything is good including front suspension (right side only), 155" tunnel/bulkhead, motor etc...
Theres some big dollar stuff in new condition here. I'd have to get 6500 back out of it to make it worth my time. Is the parted out value going to get me there? I'd like to have some big parts like the motor/tunnel committed to before i tear it down. Or am i wasting my time?

Entire sled

I wasnt expecting so much response or offers to buy... For everyone that pm'd me... Im not going to reply individually, it would take me all day.

I said i'd have to have about 6500 out of the sled to part it out because i already had the track and rear skid spoken for... a friend said he would give me 1000.00$ for it. I bought the sled for 7000.00$ It wouldnt leave for any less than that, was just hoping to make a little parting it out.

As far as the damages, it would need complete left front: upper, lower controll arms, shock, spindle, ski would work, but has a funny bend in it. might come out of it if you were to change carbides and get it good and warm. Left side hood has a hole in it at the bottom, and the bellypan is a little scuffed on the front left side. Not cracked but scuffed. I will get pictures in the swap section later if i decide to go that route. Someone pointed out that someone is already parting one out, maybe I'll just buy the parts and ride it for a year.

VIN

Vin number is clean? Not stolen if thats what you mean. bought the sled out of wyoming and they are a "bill of sale only" state. They dont have branded titles as far as salvage and insurance go...

it is currently in North Central Iowa.

Better check the tunnel right behind the secondary by the left footwell....we had a few sleds that had left front collisions and both ended up with a small bend in tunnel that would cause your shaft to be out of alignement...not unfixable but would need to be addressed for those of you looking for a quick fixer upper at a bargain price.

Which would explain why a $12k sled would be totaled.

Ok guys. Even though this was supposed to be a thread on whether or not to part the sled out and if anyone thought i could make enough to make it worth while... (I actually did get ONE pm that was helpful to answer those questions...)

Someone Pm'd me an offer I couldnt refuse to sell the sled whole. Sled is gone. Thanks for the interest!!!
