To Map or not to Map?

i imagine your asking about mapping your pc3 or 5 right? i ran my mtx with k&n's and a full exhaust with out a pc and it ran a little rough. i put on a mapped pc and it smoothened right out. it was a map that the dealer had and it was too rich i had to lean the pc out. but i would ask around and find a good map.

Map

Are you saying it was running rough from being too rich or lean?
If I can get a power commander that would be great. I run one on my stage 2, 2003 Heritage Classic and love it. I just bring the laptop out to the shop plug er in and tweak away.

I have been talking to Ulmer racing about Power Commander+maps. He sells kits that are very close to what you have so I'm sure he will be able to help you out with a map if you buy a Power Commander from him. He is also around 50 bucks cheaper than other places. My thoughts for needing one falls back to a simple rule....more air in + more air out = needs more fuel. So if I was in your shoes, (and I will be shortly) I would get a fuel controller.
