TNytro, Best options for Timbersled Rear suspension control

Tried a couple things to dial my rear suspension in some to get it to still handle well in the spring snow but not wheelie straight up (or flip over) so easily. Cant seem to find a "happy" medium. What have you guys tried so far? Revalving? Different rear shock? Paul from Impulse and a couple others have ran a double rear shock assembly for straight up serious HP and dragging/climbing situations with some success. So far, I like to be able to dial it down some for the powder handling and then stiffen for Spring riding or hard snow. I am not looking to switch to a M10 suspension so what have you guys found?

assuming you have done the shims and stuff...call Allen, he is working on a double shock back end....

Thanks guys above, but I asked for answers on the Mountain Tamer :D Has anyone tried a Fox Zero PRO as a rear shock with dual rate springs on it?

My thoughts as well. It comes with floats standard. I have had great success, with a little more weight, like dual rate or triple rate shocks on things over the years. And having instant adjustability with a Zero pro sounded good to me.

Allan has a whole new arm setup to help with the guys on big boost will need new rails though.

I run mostly pump gas cause it runs so dam good. So my HP should be around the 250-270 range on most days steady. Even under that consistent load I need to set up the suspension differently from hill climbing to Boondocking. Just looking for some options not to have to lay in the snow for 20 minutes wrenchin. Thats why I went to the Yamaha last year, LMAO! ;)

i talked with allan cause i orderd a new timber rear skid he said fox came out with a new shock called fox float 2 he said there is way more air adjustment i think up to like 150 psi wich will help a bunch up to the 300 to 325 hp range give him a call

Apparently Budd (and Allen) said the stock FOX shock can be pumped up to 180lbs as is if you can find a pump to do it.

Toms Snowmobile Service has a program where they can upgrade regular floats to the new float 2 specs. No need to plunk down cash for the 2's.

I haven't had the timbersled on snow under boost yet. I figured it'll just take some time to dial it in with the shims. :beer;
