TM1000 CLUTCHING

Hey guys, just took out my new to me 2010 boondocker pumpgas TM1000. I just had a few questions.. I'm running 8lbs.. a 36 46 dalton progressive, with 90 gram d and d magnaforce weights.. not sure on springs. Anyhow, it seems pretty laggy on the bottom end, not like boggy, just feels like turbo lag.. But when it starts building boost that thing is a freakin handful... I ride from 3 to 7 k feet.. Just curious what everyone else is running for helix ect.. thanks in advance! Darin

Octane and reeds are the first thing I look at for bottom end on a turbo, your clutching sounds fine although I think a 36/42 is better for a pg.

If your reeds are stacked it will act like that as well it could be a combo of thing all of which im trying to learn about
Do the cut down cylinder really do any thing for bottom end or is it just a way around stacked reeds?

Your TM1000 sounds just like mine from last year.
You need to work on your fueling. Mine was way lean on the bottem end. I added fuel and brap brap.

Mine ran laggy off bottom last year too, Im 99% sure it was my attitude box, no matter what I did for adjustments it would not run out clean on bottom. Smokin Dave on here confirmed on his tm1 last year exactly what mine was doing with the attitude box. Now I have a boost it box coming. My reeds where in perfect shape, I was using the 700 for pedal reeds not stacked with ovs extended stops, 10 lbs boost, cold air intake.
