TKI belt drive

Anyone run one on a turbo G4 or G5?

Not really looking for performance gains. Just don’t want to have to replace a chaincase on the mountain.

Reliablity good on these? Had perfect luck with Poos QD, and TKI kits on some NA sleds.

I ran a C3 belt drive (Canadian made) on a Gen 4 850. Would get 1500-2000km out of a belt. Was very very diligent about setting belt tension. A buddy of mine has a TKI in a Gen 4 turbo with a 40hp tune. Road with him for 2 days and he broke 2 belts, anytime he would have the track free spinning and hit traction would explode apart. I’m not super sold on them in a turbo application.

I have one on my g5 175 turbo with 350 miles so far, and one on my g4 175 with 2k miles no problems with either. I've caught some air while pulling hills, but don't hold it hostage when I land, I would expect that to break it.

TKI Reliability is excellent when belt tension is properly set. Most blown belts are from over-tensioning when cold.
Tom has a new plug included in the G5 kits that eliminates the gear walk due to the 2 piece lower driveshaft that is new.
So far the drive has stood up to the power of the G5 turbo sleds. I (Tom's advice to me) sell them with a 26T top gear rather than the 25 that was typical on the G4 sleds.
