Tki belt drive with DJ clutching

I have a tki belt drive that I'm going to be putting on my 15 xm 154. I also have a DJ dual elevation clutch kit with the mountain ramps. One guy I was talking to said that the belt drive confuses the clutching by freeing up load on the motor and you lose performance. It was a different clutch kit they had installed and it was also the c3 belt drive. Anyway I was just curious if anyone had similar problems or if someone with a similar setup had any feedback for me.

I would suggest contacting DJ this question...having said that, I asked him the same thing as I am doing just that. This is his response

"When there is a “freeing up” of something in the drive system there is a high probability you will use like a ½ gram less pinweight than before, maybe 1 gram."

They do start burping and farting when the pin weight lets them rev up to quick. Had to add some .
 
adding weight to a clutch means faster up-shift, quicker acceleration. Yeah!

I have the dual elevation kit and the Belt drive and mine runs pretty well
 
I have seen this happen more with large gearing changes. Are you changing your gearing too? Most changes can be adjusted for with the a clicker change.
