All done but the welding. Sorry, i couldnt stand it. Just wanted to show it off. Will come in at .88 lbs less than the stocker. Very pleased with that. Its just one more thing on our list of many more to come for this sled. Thanks for looking!

Yes making the top post no question, just not sure when. Thanks for the heads up. Thats the worst part on some of this stuff, when you have to beef it up to pick up the short commings of the stock stuff you end up not so much looking like a hero cause its not as light as most, or even i expected. As for a price..to be determined. These are pretty labor intensive, because all the brackets were cut out by hand. It will help a bunch when the laser guys start kicking them out.....yea the laser guys.... Currenty looking for a new company that can keep a schedule if anyone knows a place that cuts Ti. Cheers!

Dan...Nice work bud.

give me a call 2 morrow... Mil spec shop here with precision laser and ability to deliver on time.

Top post.. make it pivot style...lighter, simpler and stronger.... able to take more abuse.

Combine that with a flat 7/8" Ti bar with 8-10 degree sweep... some light risers and you will have a killer setup.

The only thing I've bent on the top arm, is the plate that the bars bolt to. But i fell off a snow bank about 8 ft down on to ice so something had to give.:face-icon-small-hap

Anyways keep up the good work. This is on my wish list for next year.

or combine the rise in the post, order to desired length.

Thanks guys! MH ill give ya a shout in the next few days. Can you tell me more on this pivoting post?? Oh, and the thing ive learned on the laser people is they ALL can cut Ti until you send a sample, get it back and yea its cut.. Ti MUST be cut with Argon assist to be done right. What i have found is if they say they use Nitrogen assist but tell you they can use Argon, means they have never done it and are not going not produce the quality im looking for. Cheers!

I will 2nd Eric's rec for a pivot post. Pivot post can hold up to more force than a flat post.

Thats the route i was thinking. makes for more lead time, but makes the part a little more reasonably priced. This stuff already tends to point towards border line rediculous. There is always that hand full of guys that just plain dont care, but i like to think of it as if i had to pay for it, but would still like to see whats involved in the pivot. Thanks!
