Titanium Edge Drive Shaft w/ Avid 7T 3 pitch drivers

I lost a bearing on the mag end of the shaft and it ate into the Ti slightly. It'll cost $125 to repair. I have a quote and can give you all the info. The drivers have less than a 100 miles on them and they don't need to be pulled off for the shaft repair. I'm asking $200 shipped but open to offers. Let me know if you need pics. I think the shaft was $350 new and the drivers are $200.

Here are the pics:

It was made by Wahl Brothers Racing. It's made of GAL4V Titanium. The hex portion is 1 1/18. The guy that quoted the fix is a forum member that does high end titanium work on marine impellers and props. Here's the Pm he sent me a few seasons ago after I sent him pics.

"I pretty sure $125 would cover it, that's the high figure. Maybe less. One week turn around is plenty, unless you need it back fast. I think you can leave the driver in place. We would keep the temp down. If there is a need to press it off and back on, I wouldn't charge you for that. Process would go: Add two small welds, walk away let it cool, and repeat until full diameter is covered. Rough turn in the lathe to +.030 over finish size, and then fill the low spots that were missed the first time welding. Then finish turn, and ship it. The strength would be like before because we are just adding a thin layer of material on top and not getting it too hot. Unfortunately, our shop doesn't have a website. I have done some business through e-bay where you can see a track record."

i will show my buddy these pics he owns a tool and die shop and makes all of my sled parts if he can fix it i will buy it give me a day or 2 to get back with you but it looks very do-able.
