thinking about going from stock 275/65R20 on F350 crew cab/4x4/SRW/long bed to slightly wider tire. would I lose or gain snow/ice traction when loaded/pulling loaded trailers? thanks for thoughts/advice.

if the tires had the same tread/compounds as what you run now...going wider will help ice traction..but hurts snow traction and the effect the snow has on keeping the truck going straight down the road(small snowburms between lanes as well as snow buildup on lanes)a narrower tires cuts/slices thru snow better...
