Timing

Need to check my timing. Does one need a special timing light, or will a normal auto timing light work?

A self powered one, or a regular auto one will work if you hook it up to dc like a car battery to power it

You need a special one that is designed for 2 strokes. The regular automotive one can't fire fast enough for the 2 stroke. Look at http://www.slp.cc/catalog.cfm?pageID=detail&catalogID=3&catID=24&productID=211 . Kind of pricey though.
