Time for rebuild?

Hey guys I’m new here I recently purchased a 2010 rmk 800 , i was cleaning the ves valves the other day and decided to take a look down into the cylinder and noticed all kinds of pitting I was driving it that day earlier with no issues and still has almost 120 compression in both sides, and still starts 2nd or 3rd pull cold and first pull warm and seems to be running like it should I’m wondering if i should just rebuild the top end and get it over with or if it’s good for a couple more miles also wondering what could cause this I do have to replace one of the springs in the ves valves as the top ring was broken , will attach pictures here

Time for new top end on the CFI-4.
I would agree, the good news is the 2010 is the "best" of the CFI-4 engines, fix-it-kit or not, but check the cylinder skirts very carefully for hairline cracks or other signs of impending failure...

If it already has the "kit" with spacer, then you need to have the taller pistons, if you are going OEM or OEM style pistons then the spacer will have to come out (along with some issues with cylinder studs etc.)
