Time for a new Jacket... Which one??

So its time for a new mid temp jacket or pullover. My coldweather jacket is a Klim Keeweenaw, great jacket just a bit warm when it gets above single digits. I"m looking for a light jacket or pullover thats mildly insulated and vented with lil color. Something that I can play around in and not get super hot, yet head out down the trail with here in Northern WI when is 20 degrees and not freeze to death. Any suggestions/pics??

I've got a Klim powercross pullover and it works great!! No insulation as it's just a shell but I also wear a tekvest. With the tekvest and different base layer combinations I can run this jacket on cold days and warmer spring days without issue.

Nothing beats the new klim stealth jacket. First ever stretch gore tex. It's awesome for mountain riding. Full of vents if needed in hot weather. Just a shell no insulation. But ya need some deep pockets for it 650 bones in canada but I don't regret it for one second. Pile through the branches an never rips either.

x2 on the stealth gear. Best bar none. The only drawback is the price. The are not bomb proof. I stuck a branch through my pants and into my knee. I had to lay there, for a half an hour, and recite some really choice words.

If you have the Keweenaw currently and think that it will be too hot of a piece for some spring riding you really are going to be forced to try something that is a shell and possibly layer below it. The Keweenaw is not really a heavy insulated piece as is, in fact it is really the "coolest" of the insulated pieces that Klim makes as it has zonal insulation rather than a blanket insulation throughout. Based on your descriptions we would suggest a Shell and a mid layer...

You could achieve this in any of the brands we sell very well, feel free to shoot us a message and request more information for whatever brand you would prefer to try out whether that be HMK, FXR, Klim, Motorfist etc. Hope that helps!!

Klim Storm parka works great with a base and TekVest. Add a mid layer like the Klim Yukon pull over when it gets colder.

Klim gear works great, yes. But the materials they use support groups against snowmobiling. If you're like 80% of sledders, this won't bother you.

Myself I'm starting to use more HMK gear. I think it works just as good, cheaper price, and better customer service. Had a pair of pants get ripped last year, out of warranty, and they gave me a new pair free and a set of BOAs dirt cheap. I know where I'll be sending my money from now on.

I have the C3 Full Zip Tampico Jacket. By far the best jacket I've owned. Keeps me perfectly dry no matter how much I'm sweating or rolling in the snow. Totally blocks the wind on those subzero wisconsin days (I'm from WI and ride the UP too). Takes all the abuse of rubbing through the trees. It's uninsulated so I wear a base and mid layer on freezing cold days, and take off the mid layer on warm days or wear a thiner midlayer. They have a pull over version as well, and they cost less than Klim's gear. And they're manufactured in the USA. Whats not to like?

I have 2 Klim and a Motorfist jacket all uninsulated but next time I will be getting a C3.

Truth be told, I do love my Klim gear and I'm not getting rid of it. Just looking for something with a little more Flash so to speak. As well as performance.
