How do they work in the steep and deep i have a 06 with a 08 float conversion in it how would it compare

Mine is probably the single most valued addition to my m7bb. Just walks up on the snow so easy and keeps the skis from coming way up in the air. My Polaris buddy asked me just yesterday if I had my limiter strap sucked way up as his nose was always up in the air & I was running nice and flat. The 20 pound weight loss is just a bonus. Works awesome!!!!

I think a lot of the guys doing big climbs on the Nytros are using them, a lot less that CR racing $5000+ setup, don't know if it works as good, but maybe some of those guys will pipe up.

so far mine is doing what i expect...and surprisingly the unit is tough...for my riding anyway..i am definately going to do their barkbuster as well...and you just cannot top their service and support..they are top notch

We are extremely satisfied with the Timbersled rear skids, especially with this year's improved, beefed-up model. It keeps the front end down while climbing in the steep and deep and eliminated the Cat mule kicks on the road moguls. It also keeps the rear of the skid pushed down for better traction when climbing.

With the previous Barkbuster front end, the spindles were too aggressive for very fast road riding IMHO. The new All Terrain spindles are a huge improvement and give the great mountain handling in the trees and twisties without the scary darting at higher speeds while on the road. We had to use SLT skis from SLP to prevent darting with the old spindles. With the new All Terrain spindles we have been able to go back to our preferred SLP Powder Pro skis.

I have been very impressed with the workmanship of this year's Mountain Tamer rear suspension. They addressed all of the weak areas found in the previous model. It makes my long days of mountain riding much less-fatiguing due to better handling and it saves my back on the road.

We set up a turbo sled in the way they recommended according to rider weight and estimated power of the turbo and it works like a charm.

Very satisfied customer.

As already stated, weight loss, getting up on the snow, and much more positive front end control are your benefits. I have last years Mtn. Tamer on my 07 M8 and the this years Mtn. Tamer on my 2010 HCR. AWESOME!!!! I have the FLOAT X rear shock on my HCR and the fine tuning ability of this shock is well worth it, especially if you ride a large variety of terrain with different purposes. The Mtn. Tamer rear suspension has so much adjustability and potential setup options and all changes are very easy to make.

hey

I'm serously considering it to help keep my skis on the ground on my 09 hcr. I'v tried the limiter straps, and suspension, and it just wheelies everywhere. Its hard to control on a long pull with beat up snow, and just kind of goes where it wants to.

Mtn.Tamer skid.

I put one under my 900 kk and what a difference it made, as most of you know the kk always had the skis in the air on a pull, NOT ANY MORE!!! the skid is strong and light and works great, I highly recommend one.
