Hey guys.

Would a TimberSled rear skid be a huge improvment over my stock skid?with some fox floats on the front, I have an 07 m8 with a 162!!

just ordered my rear timbersled from SNOW JW on this forum...im looking forward to the improvement,he will answer any question you have...

They are a lot better than stock. First year had some annoying issues, but they are all sorted out now. The ride quality and adjustability was excellent, but if you like a LOT of front end lift like I do, it may not be the skid for you.

MY buddys Xp has one and he has no ski lift at all??? But loves it.. Just diddent know how the worked on a
M8?

Best thing (mod) I ever did to my 05 M7. Weightloss, ride through bumps, ride through powder, climbing. If I get a new sled it will have the timbersled skid, even though ac has improved their skids alot. Have rode the 09's and much prefer the timbersled. It does keep the nose down but I think all for the better; jumping, climbing, boondocking, etc. It has allowed me to ride way more aggressive through all bumps, my back and knees feel young again. I now don't dread the trails in and out.

Mike?

Not to sure about the ski lift situation but when I put in the different shims on my rear a-arm of my Timbersled Rear end I get some pretty good ski lift.

Not sure why Im on this page, I ride a mod doo,However It has Timbersled skid as well I,m always suprized what everyone is missing,Even Timbersled staff, Alan and staff are all really great to work with but one of the biggest pro,s are the skid is always clean of snow,Most every other skid in deep powder collects as much as 30 lbs ,packed solid, The timbersled has only two arms which are always moving and collects No snow, the riding wieght savings is real.Tom,s snowmobile built a rear E-Vol shock which makes this setup unbeatable in my opinion, You can actually crawl through the skid, Its that clean. If I were in the market for a new skid it will be another Timbersled.I would not suggest it for repeated big air as it is built lightweight,Tom.s snowmobile is also making enhancements for the AC skid with E-Vol-, His new XP skid performs very well and is much better for jumping,

Allen is a great guy and backs his products up. The best part I found with the Timbersled is how well it fits the average mountain rider weather you have a turbo or a stock sled it is so easy to custom tune to your style. I put some links below I have set up my Dragon a few different ways were I can keep the skis on the snow or close to the snow on 12+ lbs or like on the youtube link it has only a small shim in it and I am running low boost so it can wheelie on comand but is still controllable but if I want to start pulling some steep shoots it's a breeze for any condition and HP level.

Also for the AC guys I can make you a sweet deal on some AC skids in orange.

Here is a link of setup instructions
