Noticed the rear upper arm had a tweek in it after two seasons,Sent it to Timbersled,I phoned Alan and he indicated it arrived and he would take a look at it,This was the middle of last week,On my porch today is a package with a repaired and beefed up upper half,Re-Powder coated with custom blue,New bushings and No charge! Makes me Happy I choose the Timbersled front end as well. The skid really works well on the Mod 880. Rev,This is Service! Thank You "Alan" This makes two Great service shops on top of thier game "Tom,s Snowmobile" as well

I can't say enough good things about Allan and Budd bolth great guys and have treated me great. Means allot when you know you are selling something that not only you will back up but so will the manufacture it is a rare thing now days.

i have always had good luck with TS. He offered to update my skid to the 08 style for no charge.

Now thats how to keep customers and run a successful biz.

No better way to gain biz than word of mouth and having customers advertising for you.

they are INSANLEY GREAT to work with!!!!

Timbersled skid and front end are FIRST things I buy for my sleds!!!!

No complaints here....mine did the same so I sent it back...fixed. I went to put it back together and was missing a couple bushings....I called budd and told him....2 days later I had em. Even after we hung up he called and told me about the "Gorilla glue " to use to hold the plastic bushings in. Good thing cause I would just pushed them in. He says in really cold the grease can push them out...just a heads up gor you guys.:)

Yep, that's Timbersled for you. Kind of fun to get service above and beyond what we expect from a vendor, isn't it? You oughta ride with the guys.
The boys are class all of the way.

byeatts, I have been concidering a Timbersled rear skid for some time now. I have some questions about the skid in the REV chassis. Did it bolt right in or are there some mods to be done? Does it seem to hold less snow than the stock skid? Thanks for any replies

The skid bolts right in. The rear of sled will be raised about 2 inches,When sitting the sled is all the way up with no sag.Notice it does,nt collect any snow to speak of.. Stock collects about 20lbs or more so the weight loss is huge,Fox floats are plush however I use a added air chamber on the rear shock which gives it a really soft ride.Powder climbing is great and fully adjustable transfer. made for Powder not a trail skid.Dos,nt take much research to validate Timbersleds service.A highly suggested Mod

Just wondering because when the HO in my 05 grenades i have 883 jugs and pistons from my mountain cat i wanna put in it. Iv got my timbersled skid in for my rev 151 and waiting on my ice age rails. So much cleaner looking and lighter.

The best way to keep that sort of service coming is to continue to support the business that provide it. Timbersled is now shipping the new front bumpers for the NYTRO and they look sharp. Order one up to show your appreciation for the past good service.

Alan is a good guy and he does understand good service.

It's true that I have competed with him in the Lefty market for a few years, but that is OK as he does that with class too.
He doesn't talk junk about mine and I would never do that to him (or any others) either.
Timbersled is definately a quality product from a quality company (especially since he sold Lefty, lol)
