Timbersled Ripper for pitbikes

Anyone tried the ripper snowbike kit from Timbersled?

I have a kx100 pitbike I would like to try one on. Ive never had a snowbike but this seems like a cheap/easy way to test out a snowbike and see if it like it. I feel like my kx hauls me around pretty good in the summer. im about 165lbs

At this time they are only set up for the 110cc four stoke bikes. Possibly modify a fit kit?? Chain size?? The KX 100 would rip, about the same weight with way more power!!!:face-icon-small-coo

I have a crf150r with a mototrax kit on it for my little guy to ride. It flats rips and goes everywhere we want to go with my 450 and timbersled. This thing floats like no other and has been totally bulletproof! I would recommend doing something like this before a ripper. He came off a klx 110 and the difference in power is night and day!

How much does your boy weigh?
I am really interested in something small and light that would move around someone that weighs 120 lbs.

Smaller bikes

I have a Yahama XT 225, TR 230,& a cr 230 all which are air cooled lighter bikes. Was wandering what kit would work the best.

A buddy of mine has the ripper kit and is really happy with it, I'd recommend it if you can make it fit.

exactly what I wanted to hear! thanks guys!

I think my kx100 has about the same power as a crf150r so maybe it will be okay. Might have to try this. The best part is the kit is only $2000

Don't waste your money on a snow ripper , they are a joke !!! Bought one for my kid when he was 9 . It would go on hard pack but was worthless in soft snow . It was a waste of money!!!! Bought him a crf150r and My buddy mounted a mototrax on it . My kid is 11 now and rips all day with adults on 450's and 500's !! This is a great starter bike and kit for wife and kids .

You realize the bikes you named are heavy slow turds.......

Good catch, I think they are heavier than my SXF 450. They are sure going to be "light" in the power department. Now the KX 100 is a better choice. It weighs about what the 110cc bikes weigh and a decent boost in HP. :face-icon-small-coo

I am located in Franklin Idaho. I have some video of this kit in action if someone can tell me how to post it. It has been a blast to ride with him all year long!

I picked up the ripper kit this yr. Mounted on a klx110. It's ok on flat and packed stuff. Doesn't work well on any kind of incline. My kid is around 60lb. Was hoping for a bit better performance for price

Easiest way is to get a youtube account and upload it to youtube. Do you normally ride cub river? Id like to go with some snowbikes this year.
