2nd ride out and limiter strap broke. (was in 5th hole) After using a adjustable
strap, we tightened it up a bunch till the approach angle was super flat. It would bottom out at the rear shock on big bumps, but the wheeling on the steep hills was nearly gone. My question is...... Guys with timbersled rear suspensions on turbo apex, what kinda setup?? like how tight limiter strap,
what pressure in shocks, and how thick of shims and where? I can't believe how much better it handled with the limiter strap super tight!!! thanks for the imput!! cr

this year i can't make a limiter strap last for more than 2 hours. timbersled i need the part on the bottom shaft to keep it straight so it doesn;t side load the strap. Funny thing is it worked fine all of last year.

When this skid first came out I emailed the company an asked if they had any issues with the shaft bending. Guess what, I didn't get any response.

That must have been an oversight on their part. They're the best in buisness (that I've dealt with) about returning calls and answering questions.

the rear shaft & arm will bend on the early skids if you bottom the rear to hard think they beefed them up a bit now.

try 160 lbs in the back shock, if it bottoms it will bend. 1/2 inch spacer on rear transfer rod wll help control wheelly action more than sucking up limiter strap. don't go more than 3/4" of spacers though that will bend it to. what 's it in apex or nytro

I broke my limiter strap first ride out this year and called timbersled and they sent me a new one for free and so far the strap hasent broke yet. Mine is a turbo phazer.

i putt my skid on in sept and never had a problem yet i got my limter strap in the 6th hole 100 pounds in the front shock 170 pounds in the rear i got a 1\2 inch shim in the bottom and a 1\4 on the top of the slid shaft in the back right under the bolt and washer works awsome no very much weeling i run between 15 and 18 pounds of boost keeps the skis about a foot off the ground

they are helping

timbersled is helping me get down to the bottom of the problem. THey asked
me to even send them some pictures. Looks like they are taking care of me.
