First and foremost, this is not a bashing post. Just to provide some much needed info that I have discovered.

I purchased a Clean Air Intake System from Timbersled and installed in on Sunday. I had my sled jetted perfectly while running my stock airbox. It says in the ad (see clicky) Timbersled webpage that you DON'T have to adjust the jetting. That is WRONG! I had to go up at least 5 sizes in the main jets and 1 clip position on the needle. I still have some adjusting to do once the new motor finishes the break-in process but I would really hate to hear about somebody having a burn-down due to the fact that they were too lean. I ran my sled for about 2 miles after the install and checked the plugs, they were ash white! Luckily I am paranoid about these type of things so I checked my plugs often after I put the new motor in. This kit is great, it looks good, serves it's purpose and saves a little weight. So, I am not knocking it one bit! I am just trying to get the word out that you WILL HAVE TO RE-JET! Please be careful, I don't want somebody's season in shambles due to a burn down!

Was just on their site looking at the new suspension kits they have and noticed the intake kit you mentioned. I had one on my 900 poo and it did not require any adjustments, but we are talking about two different sleds with the cleanfire on the 900. Good thing you caught it.
