Man am I sick of timbersled. It is amazing how much one can hate Polaris and their lack of customer service. Figured I'd give the new website a shot on ordering parts. So I order parts 2 weeks ago and got emailed my receipt saying 5 to 7 days. So still nothing, card was charged, etc. So today I try and login and it won't let me log in. Then I look at my bank account and the timbersled charge disappeared. Really sucks not being able to call and talk to someone. :censored: :censored: :censored: ****

some real critical timbersled parts on backorder for the older kits for...........the rest of the spring or what. going to be some kits down for the year.

Chain case sprockets

Has anyone tried finding an alternative to timbersleds ridiculously priced chain case sprockets? Not feeling that $203 for two sprockets is an excellent deal!

Is this for the older style? If so that is crazy! The new style splined are under $20.00 each.

This is on a 2015 sx120 and it has a 1" shaft bore with a square woodruff key, so nothing really special about it other than trying to find something with the right tooth pitch and sprocket width... it must have some precious metals on the inside or come with a stripper for $85 per sprocket + tax and shipping

I checked some old TS pricing vs Polaris TS pricing and Polaris jacked the prices quite a bit. I believe they call that progress.

sprockets

9 mile machine in 9mile falls WA just north of Spokane can get you out an old style sprocket. About the same price, difference is he has sprockets and POLARIS/TIMBERSLED must of decided its a waste of time to support the old kits.

When you change your lower chain case sprocket inspect the keyway for fatigue cracks, four of these old drive shafts broken out laying around the shop now....now they are real solid tent stakes. If your lower sprocket bolt keep coming loose your shaft is cracked and will eventually break or your sprocket breaks in half or if you are going WFO when it goes it will likely take out more precious backordered parts.

For the $350 its likely better to upgrade to the splined shafts which have been on back order but dribble in on occasion. If you make a smaller spacer for the old top sprocket you can use the new lower splined sprocket/driveshaft, mix and match old and new, the top shaft and parts have been on backorder for ? aw who knows.

I tried calling the shop but couldn't get connected to even leave a message. I called 5094640145. I found this same number on Facebook and the yellow pages, is there another # possibly?

so after I just ordered the parts elsewhere and over 2 weeks since ordering from Timbersled, they charge my card yesterday and the say the parts are shipped. WTF....what kind of company does that.
