Timbersled on steel frame yz 250

So i am interested in the purchase of a used 2013 timbersled kit to install on my 2003 Yz 250 But timbersled doesn’t list a fit kit and are no help to identify what other kits that might work or what parts might need to be modified or fabricated.

Has anyone fit a kit on an old steel frame Yz?

I know it’s not the ideal snowbike machine but just thinking it would be an affordable way to try snow biking and be fun to ride and follow my 7 year old on his 110 snowripper kit through the ditches.

I have a mountain sled for deep snow and mountain trips.

Man I would not worry about it... 2 stroke 250 and 300 can be a blast... I have gone back to one just for ease of maintenance... Cheap to hop up if needed... But mine is aluminum frame... Make sure the engine is healthy .... And fresh ....

Bike is mint, and fresh.

But the fit kit is not listed, and trying to figure out what it will take to make a 2006 fit kit work for a timbersled on the steel frame and 46 mm kyb forks.

yz fit kit

I too had same issue trying to find out if I could get a fit kit for my steel frame 2002 wr426. In the end I went with the oldest Yamaha yzf 450/wr 450 kit listed and it worked perfect. Pretty sure the 250 had the same frame etc as my 426 which has 46mm forks too. Glad I went for it, timbersled performs awesome.
