Timbersled Dual Skag

This one has not been run yet no snow, I ran a similar one end of last season (carbide) worked very well easier to turn holds on ice better. Plus it didnt wear out on dirt like dual runner. We tried hard facing the dual runner helped but once it wore through the hardface it was gone. No price yet I want to test a few of these first before I market them. So let it snow !

We have tested those. They work okay but they do not quite the refined handling character as the new Timbersled duel track skag. They also get rocks stuck in-between the runners. When that happens its like someone yanking the ruck out from under you. They do however have a lot of metal on them for wear.
FYI. The new Timbersled duel track skags this year are made from heat-treated tool steel. So they will be much stronger then what we made last years.

9 Miler Carbide Looks Good

I ran a mod clown shoe 2 years ago, with a woody's doolly carbide in the center, it was the best trail ski I've tried. It had a lot more room between the carbides for rocks or gravel to lodge but was never a problem. 9 Miler's carbide with less of a channel for gravel to lodge, should not plug up?
