This is one area of the TS that needs to be improved. The brake sucks period. You shouldn't have to wait 3-5 seconds for a brake to work. Its almost borderline dangerous imo. They should of had a solution for this years ago. Thoughts/Solutions ?

My 2015 brake is worse than the 2013 was. Isn't the new disc smaller diameter? I think the whole brake needs an enclosure to keep the snow off of it.

what brakes ?

a small brake disc operating in the snow and elements is a problem. I learned that when we put brake disc's in our tunnels on custom lightweight sleds, way bad, cat found that out....one run of race sleds and gone. On the bikes way to small a disc, too small a caliper, toooo much snow and ice.

First kit I built I used an 03 firecat disc/caliper/master with disc on side of tunnel and its sort of out of the snow, one finger lockup!

I agree, the 15 brake does nothing. I looked at the disk after a long day of riding and it was completely iced over and had zero stopping power. Need to find a way to cover it.
