Hi !

Maybe a stupid question !!!

Someone uses the foot brake ????

Bought a used TS and guy use rear pedal brake.


What is better ????? rear or hand brake

Hand brake is the only way to go. Deep snow or sidehilling and the foot brake becomes useless.

Exactly! It takes a ride or two to used to, but I agree handbrake all the way.

ditto...hand brake only...my buddy tried the foot brake and burned up his caliper and disc in deep snow with the pedal dragging...

Depends on what you are doing. Some guys are going to be doing some racing, in which case I think the foot brake would be better.

But as far as being in the backcountry, hand brake all the way

earlier kits only came with a long enough brake hose to reach the foot master cylinder. I think by 2014 the supplied hose was long enough to go to the bars.
