Timber sleds skid

A buddy of mine just got his in and we installed it.The only problem we had was the steering arms are now to long you run out of adjustment before the ski's are straight,we may have to cut the rods down. But we are going to ride it today and retighten evreything and look at it then.Looks good though and he put on float shocks as well.LUCKY!!!!!!

You really need to post a picture if you managed to put a Mt Tamer on the front of that sled.

LOL no doubt. Hows the steering ? lol

I rode one on a Nytro for only 10 or 15 mins, from the limited time i did ride it semed like a nice working skid. I only rode it in a foot of powder, no jumping, super steep sh!t or pounding thru the bumps so not a very well rounded report. At 12lbs of boost the ski's had 6" or 8" of ski lift (transfer) and it held there the rest of the hill. Perfect amount of ski lift on the Nytro, the dude that own's it really likes the skid.

still have not rode mine yet but its really light & looks very nice with the iceage rails.if it stads up to me it shouldnt be a prob for most i broke my stock skid a few times jump to much i guess:rolleyes:

I put a couple hundred k on my Timber rear end with ice age rails over the last couple of days. The skid works very well over the rough bumps heading into the back country. Seems to keep the skis a little lower than the stocker when climbing. I did notice one of the slider bushings worked its way out on the first day, but i hammered it back in and it seemed to stay for the last 2 days.

The Floats work better than the junker stock shocks. All in all the Timber suspensions are holding up very well !

On another note, i have had some parts issues with Timber and all i can say is Allan really looks after his customers. He always takes the time to answer questions and get you on the right track. Kudos !

Too bad theres no good snow to test it where you are summitboy. Bad Rain !!

Never rode with the stock skid-had the timbersled in since day 1. Bumps are great and it does well in the powder. Got no boost yet so can't comment on ski lift. The weight loss is great. Ran into 3 stockers in deep (4') powder and ran around them. The rear bushings came out, tapped 'em in and talked to Allen about it. Not a big deal as they will work themselves back. Said he's working on that little deal. I'd get one again in a heartbeat. In the bumps & jumps they are sweet.

Every penny of it one of the best weight lost per dollar spent and even with boost keep the skis down:D

I only have one ride on it with boost but so far seems to work great, handles the boost and controls the transfer, I would by again with out a doubt.
