Timber sled skid?

Now that some people have some time on these, how are they working? Can they control the transfer and still have somewhat normal ski-pressure? Leaning away(if possible) from the m-10 as everyone I have tried has excess ski-pressure.... It is for an apex(12-18 lbs) Will one skid setting work for these different boost levels or will I be fuggen with it? Randy, Ken you guys have some time on these... give me the goods :D Also anyone in BC or AB have one in stock for an apex? If so how much $$$? Will the stock rails work or do I need straight rails? FYI I am running the stock skid with the stiffer rear shock. Limiters sucked all the way up, rear transfers all the way up and 1/2 inch spacer. still does not hold the front down and has too much ski-pressure, plus rides like a tank on the trail hahaha.

Like I said many times on here already, So Far So Good! Does everything they told you it would. I here they're a tad harsh on a real bumby trail but I luckily somehow havn't ridd'n any yet. I can tell you its killer in the DEEP Stuff, and thats all I care about. I havn't adjusted squat, and its the perfect balance of transfer for me.

We have the timbersled front and rear setup on both a TNytro and a Tapex. I would have to say at this point that I am blown away at how good the Apex handles and the suspension has totally changed the sled for the better. It boondocks like a dream. It still has ski lift but we still have lot's of adjustment left. I am now going to tweak the Nytro till I make it handle like the Apex. The Nytro handles a lot quicker and turns a lot sharper. The suspension is awesome on both these sleds with no more bottoming.

Ski pressure and lift?

So Sly and Ken, do you think it will hold the front end down on serious climbs, yet maintain somewhat normal ski-pressure? I am currently satisfied with the stock front end, but not the skid. Also does anyone in BC or AB have one for sale, or is everyone buying direct from timbersled?

Wes

well i will say iam very happy with mine have not done any serious climbing but ran it through some big bumps today & wow just floated through them like they were not there only prob i had was my floats on the front could not keep up but did well keeping the sled strait & flat will try a bit more air to help them out.at 14lbs boost its working great picks skies up about 6inches & holds them there.we will see when i run 18lbs how it makes out :D:D:beer;

best i have right now.

Vernon sold out, any other shops have a skid?

Called vernon today, all the timbersled skids they are bringing in so far are spoken for. Any other shops/people have one? How about from timbersled directly? Long wait?

good

they look good may only consern is the rails beeing to thin from the top of rail to the bottom under the slider,i all ready have busted the sh11t out of my ekholm where it gets narrow,these skids looks just as narrow as my ekholm,which i have had to rebuild twice,with steel plates and steel transerr rods instead of aluminum..
