Timber Sled Air Intake kit

If your talking about the one with the aluminum shield and the pod filters its not worth the money and well over priced, most that get it remove the shield anyway and relocate the air sensor. I believe the better product out there is the SLP cold air intake kit that sucks air thru the rear of the sidepanel into the stock outer airbox this design added with an 07` inner airbox is a much better design.

what year is your sled?, if its an 04 - 06 it will benefit from adding at least the 07 inner airbox alone, it is a direct replacement to previous years except the intake tube in larger to allow more air ,add the SLP intake kit and a powder mesh sock over the filter material that stuffin the outer part of the sidepanel or top of outer airbox you will be set.

nice to pull air from the back or the sidepanel to the airbox especially when snow covers your hood and sidepanels

Good Luck, Wildcard

You have to be 100% vented to keep from sucking under hood heat.. I too ditched the aluminum shield, and made up a plastic shroud to pull cold air from side panel... Works perfect... This is on an Xp.
