Tiger Woods becomes 1st billionaire athlete

That depends on what your watching at the time. If you spanking it on a sauna, and it takes you 5 hours, then your probably right. :D
Keep justifying it however you must, we all know its only because you don't know how to get your Stranger on....

pfft, what a slacker, all that money and he basically buys a little crappy fishing boat???? what a tightwad:rolleyes:

That's what I was thinking. You can get a bigger boat than that at your local Wall Mart. He just got a 10 million dollar bonus last week for winning the Fed ex cup. Go buy something nice for God's sake. Maybe a nicer house. 54 million is chump change for a home.

As a person, I can't stand Tiger. I just respect him for what he's done for the game of golf. You have to give the guy props for being the 1st billionaire for playing a sport he loves.

Even Michael Jordan who I consider the greatest athlete of all time didn't make that much money. James Stewart who is by far the fastest MX racer of all time, only makes around 10 million a year. He'd have to ride allot of years to become a billionaire.

didn't micheal shumacker(?) already make a billion in F1. he was making something like $250 mil/season with ferrari. not sure, but thought i read about that a few years ago

Chubbydog, I can't believe his neighbors are that close to him.

I'd bet money that those are his guests house's. I think he has a few of them on his property.

It says in that article that he's right around 700 million so far. He's still got a ways to go.

Golf is not a sport, hence the reason that big, sloppy old men play the GAME.

And for ONLY making 10 million a year for riding a dirt bike in a circle, and prolly STILL can't beat RC, well, he has it made. Wish I had that problem, 10 million a year

Golf not a sport huh, so I guess that baseball isn't either. I mean all you have to do is hit the ball right. Tiger can hit the ball and make it cut to the right, fade to the left. He can even controle height of his shots. I don't even see a baseball player do that. How many of you you guys can smash a 350 yard drive and put it where you want 75% of the time. I know I can't. I guarantee that Tiger put's just as much time or more in practicing than any other professional athlete and he spends a ton of time in the gym for physical conditioning. As far as Daly, he's out of shape and that's why he's down on the list and not a contender in any tournaments.

Having stayed at the same Hotel as Tiger when he was playing over in Kawaii and all I can say is the guy is big. He was down in the gym at 5:30 in the morning working out and lifting weights. Golf actually puts serious strain on your back when you play it and I think he was out for a few months?

Oh and I had dinner right next to his dad and wife (then girlfriend) and she is really really good looking :D

Athletic to play golf???? I submit........John Daly.

So sinice John Daly is fat, and he play golf, that means it's not a sport?

Babe Ruth was fat, so that makes Baseball not a sport.

I guess football's not a sport, because more than 1/2 of every team is way overweight.

Boxing isn't a sport, because of Butterbean.

Big country Nelson is fat, so I guess anybody can be in the UFC.

Come to think of it, I can't think of any sport where there arn't any fat guys playing. Now to be able to compete, & win at the highest level is a different story. I was gonna say motorcross, but I saw a 300lb guy at the track the other day, so I guess that's not a sport either.

90% of snowmobilers are over weight, so I guess that's just an activity too.

To say John Daly is fat, so you don't have to be an athlete to play golf is funny. Charles Barkley if fat, so I guess anybody could play in the NBA. :D

When are you guys going to realize that riding in golf carts, drinking beer and whacking the ball around doesn't give you the right to decide whether golf is a sport or not?

I can't help but get the feeling some of you think because you can get the ball up in the air and hit it 100 yards down the fairway means it's not a sport. The way the average hacker swings it doesn't require hardly any athletic ability, but their swing and the swing of a Tour Pro are polar opposites.

I want somebody here to post a video of their golf swing and we'll compare it to Tiger's, we'll see how much of an athlete he is.

I cannot think of any sport/game/whatever that separates a rookie vs. a Pro more than golf.

A golf ball is not a moving target that looks the size of an Asprin!!! Baseball players cna control their hits, pulling, chopping it to the ground, arc it up, line drive.

BAD comparision. Plus that baseball can hurt like hell if it hits, I don't think the golf ball is jumping out of the rough and making you see spots.

Enough about whether you have to be athletic to golf and Tigers boat, let's see some more pics of his wife, I figured xrated would be all over that:eek:
