Tial bov spring too stiff?

My Tial spring is too stiff in my Impulse Apex. It's a pink one, which I think is the lightest they make. It doesn't sound like it blows off until full boost. Anyone making a spring for these that's lighter?

Are you sure you have the correct pink spring -3psi and not the stiff -11 psi one? My -3psi pink spring works perfect with my mcx apex setup:face-icon-small-hap

Tial Q BOV springs:
-20 to -21 in/Hg use Pink -11 Psi spring
-16 to -19 in/Hg use Un-painted -10 Psi spring
-12 to -15 in/Hg use White -8 Psi spring
-8 to -11 in/Hg use Black -6 Psi spring
0 to -7 in/HG (or supercharger) use -3 PSI Spring (Pink)

You're right. Mine is the long silver/pink one. I'm going to order the hot pink one today.
Thanks

How do you know if you have the pink or hot pink spring? I just ordered a spring which should be the hot pink/supercharger spring, but the one I received is only painted on the top, unlike the one shown in the ebay link, which is all hot pink. Without comparing the two side-by-side, I'm not sure if mine is truly hot pink, or just pink. Are the hot pink ones painted hot pink all the way down, or just on one end? Is it possible to test the spring by hooking up approx 3 psi to the intercooler side of the blowoff valve and see if it opens? Seems silly/dumb to have 2 shades of pink that are the opposite ends of spring stiffness, instead of choosing another color to differentiate.

To make sure your Blow off valve is opening at the correct spring pressure get yourself a hand held vacuum tester with a guage. Hook it up to the nipple on the BOV for vac/Boost from sled and watch the guage as you pump up the tester!!! Great tool to have in the shop, can get them at any parts store near you.
BC.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I should get one. I was hoping I could hook up a pressure line (pump) to the high pressure side and see if it opens at only 3 psi. I imagine a vacuum gage on low pressure side should do the same thing and would be useful for more than just testing this spring. Does anyone know if the hot pink is painted all the way down? Also, I am putting an Impulse kit on an Apex. Is the hot pink spring the one recommended for any turbo sled? The spring in the BOV from Impulse is a black, which is the next higher spring.
