THUNDER MOUNTAIN LODGE SNOW TOTALS

Hope it keeps up for about 2 weeks so there is some fresh for us. Cant wait to get back to the Mesa, will be checking snow reports from Cancun all week, keep me posted Pappa!!!

Since yesterday morning Thunder Mountain Lodge has picked up 16-18" in the parking lot and it is still snowing and blowing. It blew pretty hard all day yesterday and last night. There should be a ton of snow in the back country and lots of drifts and cornices given the wind. Visibility may be a little tough but overall this weekend should be perfect. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Cancun! How's the riding down there? LOL

Mark,
Thanks for the info Grand Mesa always has snow and with the base and previous warm days it is spring riding at its best. Should put the total year at 320+". Wish I didn't have to return to the big city we had a great time and enjoyed the burger.

Man! I wish I could have made it up with you two today. Ray mentioned that he could have used my sno-bunje skills as well. Spring on the Mesa is killer!!!!!!!!!

As of 3pm today we have about 14" of the finest Colorado Champagne Powder on the ground I have seen this year and it is still snowing like crazy! Looks like it could be a perfect weekend.

Well it has quit snowing for an hour or so and I have about 19" total on the ground since last night.. It snowed the hardest this afternoon and was a whiteout for most of the afternoon. Couldn't see the Hot Tub Pavilion from the lodge and it is only 100' away. Conditions couldn't be better for this weekend.

Another 6" overnight bring total for the last 36 hours to over 2' and it snowing like crazy this morning. The Mesa is getting slammed.

Mark, I don't even want to hear it.:face-icon-small-fro:face-icon-small-fro. I will be in Moab tomorrow. Jeep Safari. Drats.:hurt:

Sam

Sammy, Fresh Pow vs fun in the sun at Moab. Hmmmm. I will say the dirt here at my house was prime for some two wheel fun today. Face shots tomorrow, can't wait. Have fun at Moab Man!!!!
