we figure its 5ft deep in the skinniest spots, deeper than that we never made it.....AVY danger EXTREME!..

Never got 20 feet off main trail or more than 2 miles from the lot...today..CDOt gave up plowing the closed road...

SCARY deep, gonna wait this one out 24hrs...

First time I've ever seen the snotel over a 100 inches in Dec. Be carefull out there.

There is none, they are a small motel on the edge of Cedaredge. All brown down there at 5500 ft! Best off coming to the top for the good stuff.

is Dizz, shopping around for spohurers?....in reality, tho...you can unload at "old grand mesa road" 1/2 the distance to the VC if staying in Cedaredge.

I think its the difference of +/- 6 miles....only problem just like on top.......CDOT isn't plowing that trailhead so parking is zero.

Mark is just trying to corner the market on the mesa, its no secret!! ...:tsk::tsk:

Old Grand Mesa road trailhead is closed this year due to logging operations. I have been told they will not be plowing that very small parking lot this year, so there is no parking there at all, and they won't let you park on the highway. Haven't been by there in a couple of weeks, been moving snow instead. It is sunny this am and should set this last powder up nicely.
