Throttle sticking?

While riding in over the hood deep snow, I'm experiencing the throttle lever icing up and sticking. Has anyone else had this issue, and does anyone make a "frogskinz" type of cover for the throttle block?

Usually your linkage is a little too tight. I had the same issue yesterday. There is a little rubber piece about 2"-3" from the throttle. Pull it apart and back it off just a hair. You don't need any tools at all. Takes about 20 seconds to do.

get rid of the junk stock polaris throttle block. cant beleive they haven.t been sued over it yet (major safety concern). rsi does not make a heated block anymore. dont need it . get a skinz or regular rsi block and your problem will be solved!!!

Yes SnoWonder, i think one AXYS in every group of Poo riders is having this issue in some form or another, i know we are and it sounds like most others are as well. Take the recommendations of the fella's on here and get a diff throttle block.

Three 16's in my group of riders. Only two of us are suffering from throttle icing, Safety switch cut outs, and the other issues with water causing display / other misc electrical issues.

Talked with Carl's about it as well, no surprises as to these issues.

Not really pleased about it given the cost of the sled, but much cheaper solutions vs previous generation problems.

This happens on all sleds, but more so on the polaris. Why they didnt fix it on the axys is beyond me.

Keep a bottle of lock deicer in your pack. Tilt sled so throttle facing upwards and dump it down the cable.
